For over 31 years, the Management of Change (MOC) Conference, hosted by The American Council for Technology (ACT)Industry Advisory Council (IAC), has provided a valuable open forum where both private and public sectors have collaborated to help improve the government’s operating inefficiencies via innovation. The opportunity to have the best of government and industry to pool resources and leverage best practices are essential, and proper implementation will allow agencies to optimize their spending and, more importantly, redirect their efforts to value added activities. This is all highlighted in the 2011 MOC theme, “Partnership for Success-Delivering IT.”
In the midst of an uncertain fiscal budget for 2012 and the out years, the timing of this year’s MOC Conference is the perfect venue to help contribute to these efforts. Instead of focusing on just partnering, which is one of the critical elements for success, the conference will also provide discussions on innovative IT solutions, effective IT governance, the success of outsourcing, and a variety of other key topics.
As Co-Chair of this year’s conference, I am encouraging all to register to attend on May 15-17th in Hot Springs, VA. The planning committee, consisting of both industry and federal employees, has diligently worked to develop a robust agenda that will entice all who attend. Please join us as we build on partnerships for success!
