Use EndNote Web to collect and organize your research material

EndNote Web - available as part of the Library's subscription to Web of Science - is a web-based reference manager that allows you to collect and organize your research materials. You can also format reference lists, "Cite While You Write", and share your collections with others. Registration is required, but is free of charge. (Please note: registration is NOT required for access to Web of Science (WoS) - WoS is accessible to members of the Glenn community from any NASA authorized computer or hand-held/mobile device.)

When adding items to your list of references and research material, you can copy and paste an individual reference; you can import previously generated reference lists into a variety of formats; or you can search library catalogs and other databases listed by EndNote Web for references to add to your collection (full text access to items will vary based on GRC's subscription status).

EndNote Web also allows you to group similar references and items together - keep all of your research on a particular topic in one list, then share it with colleagues within EndNote Web via group sharing.

You can also format reference lists using EndNote Web. Export your list either unformatted or formatted in a particular style (APA, MLA, etc.) to email or to a printer; you can also format a full paper using either EndNote Web or the Microsoft Word plug-in "Cite While You Write" (downloaded from the EndNote Web site - you must be logged into EndNote Web to download the plug-in). EndNote Web will also remove duplicate references from your lists.

Help guides and FAQs are available from the EndNote Web site (you must be logged in to access the Help/FAQs); for additional assistance, please contact the Library at 3-5778.
