Science.gov - a collection of federal agencies' websites and information sources - now includes an image search and the ability to search the Federal Register.

The image search, found under "Special Collections", includes the NASA Image eXchange (NIX), as well as The National Biological Information Infrastructure (NBII) Library of Images from the Environment (LIFE) and The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Photo Library. Additional image databases will be added at a later date.

The basic science.gov search also now includes the Federal Register and and Code of Federal Regulations. You can also search several special collections, including Federal R&D Project reports, other international science sites, and science conferences.
