The IV&V Educator Resource Center (ERC) provided West Virginia educators with ground-penetrating radar (GPR) training that enabled them to search for remains of a West Virginia landmark located in Morgantown, Kern's Fort. This very NASA-technology was used by an Earth scientist at Goddard Space Flight Center to assist the Turkish government with the location and excavation of ancient tombs.
