
Fermi Deputy Project Scientist
Responsible for helping the Project Scientist with all aspects of the mission. I keep an eye on the Fermi Science Support Center and on the GBM instrument.
I have been with NASA since 1982. I am Chair of the Astroparticle Physics Laboratory.
I am a physicist with a BS from the University of Arizona and a PhD from Caltech.
To relay information about the Fermi mission to interested people.
My passion is for things that explode -- like gamma-ray bursts and supernovae.
