Wondering how all the the pieces of the research and publishing process fit together? Learn more at the Glenn Science & Engineering Library's 2nd annual Information Expo on Tuesday, May 8 from 11am to 2pm in the upper level of the cafeteria.

Stop by to speak to representatives from:

  • the Glenn Science & Engineering Library (GSEL), and learn more about Library Services including interlibrary loan, competitive intelligence and technology analysis, in-depth research assistance, training materials, safety videos, documents and more.
  • vendors of some of the most authoritative journals and databases [access provided by GSEL in partnership with the Research and Technology], including Springer, IEEE, IHS [NASA Technical Reports Program], Taylor & Francis and more.
  • the Glenn Creativity & Innovation Commons (CIC), has been established through collaboration between various codes and organizations across the Center to promote the goal of fostering a highly creative and innovative culture at Glenn. The area is designed to support meetings aimed at the training in or application of creative and innovative methods and collaboration, both internal and external to Glenn, toward capturing future work for the Center.
  • Glenn Publishing Services, which provides customer support for all phases of production, recommends editorial practices and presentation of material, ensures technical and editorial quality of manuscripts, and coordinates layout and printing support.
  • the Glenn Scientific & Technical Information (STI) Program, which captures, processes, archives, and disseminates NASA STI. This program helps to advance, safeguard, and avoid duplication of aeronautics and space science research and to ensure the United States maintains its preeminence in aerospace-related industries and education.
  • the Glenn Intellectual Property Division (Office of Chief Counsel), which provides assistance with intellectual property issues, as well as patent and copyright licensing.

Join us on May 8 from 11am to 2pm for fun and prizes, including a solar-powered mobile device charger! For additional information please contact the Library at 3-5778. (*This event is open to Glenn employees - civil service and support service contractors - only.)
