Congratulations to the SpaceX and NASA teams on the success of the Crew Dragon 1 mission! Congratulations as well to the Expedition 58 crew and to Canadian astronaut David Saint-Jacques on being the first to board the Dragon. We are proud of you!
Has anyone actually commented on the aggressive wobbling of the Dragon capsule upon re-entry after the intial Drogue
Parachutes were deployed! Understand that you have people inside and the Dragon is wobbling like some Rollercoaster
Ride!Can a person truly keep level of concentration while having the brain is tossed inside the astronauts head without passing out or worse?The forces acting upon the Brain and the Fluid surrounding the Brain must be extreme!I had watched the Apollo reentries and splash downs and did not see any wild oscillating gyrations like that of the Dragon drogue parachute deployment!How do you train for scrabbled Egg-Brain syndrome!It does not appear to be the “Smooth Ride” that the Apollo-nauts got!Just saying!
NASA and SpaceX still have work to do to review the systems and flight data to validate the spacecraft’s performance and prepare it to fly astronauts. Already planned upgrades, additional qualification testing, and an in-flight abort test will occur before NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley will climb aboard for Demo-2, the crewed flight test to the International Space Station that is necessary to certify Crew Dragon for routine operational missions.
Next step is for it to land back at Cape Canaveral right?
The SpaceX Crew Dragon splashed down in the Atlantic Ocean off Florida’s eastern shore.
