The payload fairing containing NASA’s TDRS-L spacecraft rolled from the Astrotech payload processing facility in Titusville to Space Launch Complex 41 on Monday, Jan. 13. The fairing was carefully hoisted above the United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket, then moved into position and secured.

Managers gave the rocket and spacecraft the “go” for launch during today’s Flight Readiness Review. There will be one more review — the Launch Readiness Review — on Tuesday. Liftoff is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 23 at 9:05 p.m. EST, the opening of a 40-minute launch window.
