Cryo Tanking Underway for Atlas V

OA-6/Atlas V being rolled out to Pad 41 for launch. Tonight’s countdown to the launch of Orbital ATK’s CRS-6 mission to the International Space Station is progressing smoothly toward an 11:05 p.m. EDT liftoff. Cryogenic tanking is underway now as the weather forecast remains 90 percent “go.” The Cygnus spacecraft is set to lift off on a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, carrying nearly 7,500 pounds of supplies and science investigations.
