Progress 71P ISS Reboost: Overnight the ISS completed a 5m 37s reboost using 71P thrusters. The purpose of the reboost was to start the necessary phasing to support the 2019 Russian Visiting Vehicle plan. ISS velocity increased by 0.65 meters per second (m/s) and ISS altitude was increased by 1.15 kilometers (km).
Rodent Research-8 (RR-8): Today crewmembers performed Day 1 of Rodent Research operations. The Rodent Research-8 investigation utilizes mice flown aboard the International Space Station (ISS), and maintained on Earth, to investigate the physiology of aging in response to microgravity and the role of aging in the onset and progression of disease.
Mobile Servicing System (MSS) Operations: This evening Robotics ground controllers will translate the Mobile Transporter (MT) from Worksite (WS) 4 to WS6, walk the Space Station Remote Manipulator System (SSRMS) off to the Mobile Baseline System (MBS), unstow Special Purpose Dexterous Manipulator (SPDM) and configure for Materials ISS Experiment (MISSE) robotics next week.
